Happy's Bar & Street Food began as a monthly pop-up fried chicken joint serving from a hatch on Dorset Street in December 2020. After one or two more pop-ups, the founders found their first permanent location on Aston Quay. They found their new home right next to Temple Bar. Fried chicken was and still is their specialty, but they wanted to offer more than that. A cocktail menu of contemporary cocktails with a Happy Endings twist, huge cocktail buckets, super crisp world beers and small plates inspired by street food dishes from around the world made Happy's Bar & Street food to what it is today. With a very sustainable approach to design, all the chairs and plates were purchased second hand, nothing matched. Unconventional, eccentric and unapologetic. The chaos was really the charm.
